NVQ 2 Barbering
This qualification will be run in our vibrant hair salons, where you will work alongside learners from other groups and levels to provide a stimulating salon environment.
Your programme will consist of the following:
*Health & safety
*Create a professional image
*Consultation
*Shampoo & condition
*Cut hair using basic techniques
*Cut facial hair to shape using basic techniques
To complete this programme, you will also undertake 3 optional units from the following:
*Salon reception
*Develop & maintain effectiveness at work
*Plaiting techniques & adding hair
*Provide scalp massage
*Change hair colour using basic techniques
*Dry hair to create finished looks for men
*Perm & neutralise hair
By completing this programme, your skills will have the diversity to offer both ladies hairdressing and mens barbering.
