NVQ 3 Barbering
This qualification will be run in our vibrant hair salons, where you will work alongside learners from other groups and levels to provide a stimulating salon environment.
Your programme will consist of the following:
*Health & Safety
*Promote additional services
*Consultation
*Create a variety of looks using barbering techniques
To complete this programme you will also undertake 4 or 5 optional units from Group 1 and 1 optional unit from Group 2 (unless doing 5 from Group 1):
Group 1
*Provide shaving services
*Design and create a range of facial hair shapes
*Design and create patterns in hair
*Provide hair extension services
*Develop and enhance your creative hair skills
*Colour hair using a variety of techniques
*Provide colour correction services
*Perm hair using a variety of techniques
*Provide facial massage services
*Provide Indian Head Massage
Group 2
*Contribute to the financial effectiveness of the business
*Support customer service improvements
*Plan and implement a promotional activity
Learners must have completed NVQ2 Barbering to undertake this qualification.
Level 3 gives you a diverse range of advanced skills and creative techniques to work in all aspects of the hairdressing and barbering arena.
